Free Employment Law Advice and Representation - What is Pro-Bono?
This page provides a directory of organisations that provide free employment law advice. Free employment law advice and representation is also called pro-bono. Some of these organisations will also provide free representation at preliminary and final hearings in the Employment Tribunal.
Pro bono is shortened from the Latin term pro bono publico, which means “for the public good.” It involves barristers, solicitors and law students giving up their time on a voluntary basis for people who need legal assistance, but aren’t in a position to pay for the necessary support.
