Discrimination
The Equality Act 2010 makes discrimination at work on the basis of your protected characteristics unlawful. The protected characteristics are age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, sex and sexual orientation. Your employer is prohibited from discriminating directly or indirectly, victimising or harassing you. This prohibition extends to your colleagues and third parties including your employer's agents.
